The position is temporary for 12 months and the preferred location for the position is in Trieste, Italy. As Operational Purchaser, your work will focus on these responsibilities:Place purchase orders in accordance with different lead time and safety stock requirement based on purchasing requisition and outline agreement;Make proactive expediting to fulfil the customer's requests;Find the best purchasing solution among the available resources globally to meet urgent demand of internal stakeholders;All activities will be done within the Supply Team; therefore, willingness to work in a team is crucial;A lot of attention and effort will be spent to develop and digitize the processes. To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:BSc or MSc Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain background;Experience in purchasing or dealing with suppliers;Team working and goal-oriented;Fluent in English both written and spoken. In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world.
