**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
**Position**:
**Operational Readiness Activities (Pre-games)**:
- Assist in the design, development, and execution of comprehensive operational readiness plans.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure plans cover all critical aspects.
- Organize and manage logistics for tabletop and simulation exercises, including participant management and resource allocation.
- Prepare templates, documentation, and post-exercise debrief reports for stakeholders.
- Schedule meetings and manage participant lists, invitations, and agendas.
- Oversee logistics for readiness activities, such as room bookings, translation services, and AV equipment.
- Create presentations to communicate readiness outcomes and updates.
- Ensure effective resource management, including the availability of backup resources.
**Main Operations Centre Reporting during Games Time**:
- Oversee daily reporting during Main Operations Centre operations, consolidating data into actionable reports.
- Analyse operational data and provide insights to support decision-making during critical periods.
- Create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Smartsheet, and Excel for real-time updates and performance tracking.
- Support contingency planning, risk responses, and the development of operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting by aggregating data from various sources. Continuously improve reporting processes to enhance clarity, accuracy, and impact.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Operations, Project Management, or a related field (essential).
- Strong organizational and planning skills (essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Power BI (essential).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with fluency in Italian and English (essential).
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively in teams (essential).
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively (essential).
- 1-2 years of experience in data analyses, administrative support to operations, event planning, operational readiness, or a related field, including administrative or internship experience (desirable).
- Strong understanding of operational planning, training methodologies, and testing/exercising techniques (desirable).
- Eagerness to learn about operational readiness practices and business continuity (desirable). Based in Milan or willing to relocate to Milan until the end of contract.
