**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
**Position**:
Operational Readiness Programme Manager works across Operational Readiness Function activities in support of the Head of Function and Functional Managers, coordinating key planning outputs, managing information and supporting different activities in accordance with the needs and as requested by Head of FA.
**Responsibilities**:
Act as point of contact for FA planning deliverables and documentation
Manage OPR FA page in Space 26
Key asset in developing and managing operational readiness needs analysis and database
Develop templates and instruments for FA deliverables ( OPR neds analysis, Meetings Minutes, Issues Register, Risk Register etc)
Prepare reports
Coordinate information exchange and validation with other FAs where required
Support Test Events coordination with FAs
Support delivery of readiness exercises
Support implementation of C3 with Event Teams
Support MOC Planning process
Support organization of key meetings

**Requirements**:
Experience in major events organisation, in operations
Strong project management skills and organizational skills
Ability to coordinate inputs, requirements and demands on numerous constituencies into a cohesive effort
Ability to simplify, synthetize and build powerful reports and presentations to support the programme
Ability to work under pressure and with flexible attitude to deal with changing priorities
Strong relationship building and communication skills
Team player and independent thinker
Pro-active in flagging problems and proposing solutions
Motivated to learn
Excellent writing skills in Italian and English
Advanced user of Microsoft suite ( excel, word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Experience with Smartsheet and Power BI is a plus
