**Your role

- As Operational Risk Control Specialist, your role is to ensure that Operational risks are understood, owned and managed to the appetite approved by the Senior Management, supporting UBS Europe SE Operational Risk Control function vision, to be an industry leading function in the effective oversight of Non-Financial risks management, helping to drive sustainable performance and the right outcomes for clients, markets and people.

UBS Europe SE Operational Risk Control provides independent oversight, challenge and control over the Operational risks arising from business and operational activities in the legal entity.

This includes reviewing and challenging that necessary risk frameworks are appropriately designed and operating effectively across the operational risk taxonomies, pro-actively identifying and analyzing risks and providing constructive challenge to achieve an appropriate balance between risks and return.

**Your team

- UBS Europe SE Operational Risk Control is a multi-cultural and jurisdictional independent second line of defense function, for the control of Operational Risks.

The team is composed by highly professional experts in different types of Operational Risks, located in different EU jurisdictions.

**Your expertise

- To be successful in your role, it is important:

- Demonstrable 3-4 years experience in a similar position, preferably in an international bank

- Analytical skills

- Discipline in the understanding and execution of frameworks

- English language (High)

- Italian language (Native / High)

- Transparent and constructive challenge
