- **About You**:_

- **About the Opportunity**:_

As **Operations and Business Development Associate** you will assist the Business Development Manager and the Ground Operations Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our tours at the Vatican, Colosseum, Pompeii, and other sites in and around Rome, including excursions and day trips.

You will assist with the development of new tours and experiences in the market and will take the lead on transportation management, working together with the Central Ops Team to build efficiencies in our transportation processes and systems.

You will also assist with the invoicing and cost reconciliation for Rome excursions, and work on tour-related communication and documentation to ensure that guides, drivers and internal staff are always up to date and informed about our tours.

You will always be looking for ways to improve what we do and how we do it, bringing your keen trouble-shooting skills to the team every day!

- **Your responsibilities**:_

- Procedures & Documentation: monitor & upkeep all relevant Product documentation

- Product development and redevelopment: assist with product revisions as required; research new product opportunities and provide product training for internal staff and Tour Guides

- Transportation: assist with day-to-day operations for excursions including transportation scheduling, accounting, and troubleshooting.

- Assist with the day-to-day operations and post-tour reconciliation

- Assist with tour disruptions: find solutions and alternatives to guarantee the smooth running of all tours; work with the Central Ops and Client Experience Teams closely.

- Establish strong working relationships with a wide range of partners such as guides, cultural sites, transport suppliers

- Understand how our market is performing and proactively strive to improve our margins, procedures, efficiencies and quality

- Workflow support for the Operations team where volume requires

- Provide Ground support in case of emergency/need/high flux

- **Your Skills**:_

- Minimum 3 years previous experience in Rome tourism either in operations, product development or guide management.

- Excellent organizational skills

- Professionally efficient in all forms of communication

- Dependability, candor, strong work ethic, time management are all pre-requisites

- High attention to detail required

- Strong technical skills, and the ability to learn multiple systems in a fast-paced environment

- Fluency in English and Italian

- Familiarity with Microsoft suite, Asana, Slack desired

Pay: €35, 000. 00 per year
