WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Operations Engineer (Linux and Kubernetes) – Space Mission Join our client's team in Rome as a Operations Engineer (Linux and Kubernetes) – space mission.

Our client is a trusted partner of European governments and international organizations , specializing in IT and space services.

YOUR TASKS Oversee real-time monitoring and operation of ESA missions.

Diagnose, resolve, and prevent operational issues.

Analyse system performance and optimize processes.

Develop scripts to automate tasks.

Assist with new projects and system integrations.

Maintain operational procedures and technical documentation.

Perform routine application maintenance.

YOUR SKILLS Proficient in Linux Proficient in Shell Scripting Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge of storage solutions and cloud technologies Expertise in troubleshooting and process optimization.

Fundamental understanding of networking concepts Experience in requirements analysis and project planning.

Excellent command of the English language (B2 or higher) Ability to explain complex technical concepts.

NICE TO HAVE Basic knowledge of Grafana , Kibana , and Elasticsearch Basic knowledge of HTML and XML Basic knowledge of Apache and Tomcat Basic knowledge of Python Basic knowledge of OpenLDAP Basic knowledge of MySQL , Oracle , PostgreSQL , and SQL Knowledge of the ESA Environment Knowledge of Satellite product standards Experience in monitoring and operating satellite missions PERSONAL SKILLS Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution Team-player spirit Ability to work in an international environment EXTRA INFORMATION Work location: Rome Work mode: Hybrid , 2 days on-site per week Great career opportunity in the Space industry Corporate Benefits Package Company events Please note that this position is currently available only to individuals who meet the following criteria:
