Operations Intern - Facilities & Building
WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
You will join the Operations department of BCG Milan Office for an internship experience and will have the chance to support the Building Team under the Responsibility of the EMC (East Mediterranean and Caspian) Operations Director.
**YOU'RE GOOD AT**:
- Supporting the Building Team in all the daily operational activities for the management and coordination of the suppliers related to the space utilization and service level achievement;
- Accomplishing any task applied to the suppliers' daily management (i. e.
in-site inspections, communication flow for authorized entrances, office signage, . . . );
- Assisting the canteen service team to manage the supplier in all the related activities such as daily survey to the staff for collecting orders, final count of meals, monthly cost check concerning every kind of expense (purchasing of consumables, hotelleries, fresh fruits for break areas, dried fruit for the canteen, ).
- The support will be focused on the activities listed above, but not limited to them. _**YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in Italian and English;
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Management or similar will be considered as a plus;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, comfortable with the use of data-based systems and report running;
- Precision, excellent organization skills, ability to work under pressure and to respect deadlines;
- Good interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude;
- Strong service orientation and responsiveness to requests;
- Independence and proactivity in performing assigned tasks;
- Natural attitude and genuine passion towards operational activities;
- Office daily presence is needed.
**YOU'LL WORK WITH**:
You will work strictly in contact with the Building and General Services Teams and our maintenance, logistics, and facilities suppliers.
Overall, our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively.
We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.
