Operations Lsp Manager

**Purpose of the job**:
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to**:
- Monitor LSP and Supplier performance and deviation from requirements/SLA's to identify corrective actions as required, to support development and increase LSP and Supplier lean maturity.
- Ensures smooth and efficient cooperation between Operations, LSPs & Suppliers
- Ensure LSPs and other Suppliers understand and accept SDS guidelines and requirements for all logistics operations.
- Collaborate with internal operations team, partners and customers to understand strategic & operational needs, define steps required and achieve targets.
- Monitors and detects the operational flows, the relative productivity and the KPIs of the warehouse managed by the LSP.
- Identify and share best practices among LSP and internal Operation Team in order to improve LSP performance and reduce logistics costs.
- Conduct regular business meetings and audit with 3PL providers in order to check if our procedures and processes are correctly performed and our target are on track.
- Drive productivity through data analysis, process reviews, and action plans.
- Determine applicable key metrics and understand root causes, correctives actions and business impacts.
- Develops implementation projects for internal process improvement and elaborate specific analyzes, based on needs, coordinating with Operations Manager, Process Innovation Manager and Customers
- Partner with supply chain team of external customer and with internal Operations Team to support inventory reduction and minimize waste streams.
- Support the operations team in case of contingency plan due to unexpected external events (strikes, delays, adverse weather conditions, etc, , , )
**Profile**:
**We are looking for an employee with**:
- Degree in Business Administration (Logistics or Supply Chain) - Engineering or Economics.
- Experience of at least 8 years in the role or as logistic manager with a strong focus on external LSP Management, within companies in the logistics and transport.
- Experience in working cross functionally and managing projects.
- Experience working with Continuous Improvement Process & Lean Six Sigma Problem Solving tools.
- Fluency in English.
- High technical and analytical skills and a good business sense, knowledge of logistics systems, warehousing, order fulfillment, customer service, project management practices.
- Ability to motivate and stimulate people to maximize performance in a highly dynamic and challenging environment.
- Ability to effectively lead meetings - face to face, conference calls, & web based.
- Ability to grasp new concepts and quickly adapt to changing circumstances/environment.
- Ability to analyze problems and opportunities and systematically approach them to make improvements both short term and long term.
- Must be self-motivated and willing to be flexible in work schedule and hours.
