As the **Operations Manager**, you will drive the execution of the production team, and other critical plant resources, to meet customer and business commitments.

Build plans and execution mechanisms to balance customer on-time delivery, days-on-hands inventory, and financial operational metrics.

Develop and manage the implementation of effective safety, cost-reduction, efficiency, and continuous improvement projects.

Hire, mentor and develop employees into high-performance teams.

Implement Lean Six Sigma methodology to drive operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Integrate production operations or processes over multiple shifts;

- Take short term decisions related to production activities: production scheduling, procurement, production flow regulation, problem solving and equipment maintenance;

- Constantly review production and evaluate the operating performances (team skills, productivity and costs), according to production planning, optimize productivity capacity (equipments and resources), reaching the most efficient organization

- Promotes a culture of safety and ensures a safe working environment for all employees.

- Motivates and encourages team to drive employee engagement.

- Manages operations in compliance to daily production goals.

- Formulates and implements strategic and tactical objectives to achieve operations goals.

- Recruit, coach and mentor staff to develop a successful performing team.

- Builds a flexible workforce to manage forecast and budgets effective

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Production Management, Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent

- 5 years minimum of proven successful work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role.

- At least 5 years of learning experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain

- Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels within and outside of the organization.

- Outstanding interpersonal and strong communication

- Problem solving skills

- Familiarity with business and financial principles and metrics

- Lean manufacturing knowledge

- Proficient English
