**About the role
For our Italian team we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who brings primary insurance operational expertise coupled with a strong operational assurance bias.
**Role requirements**:
- Be part of the Due Diligence to be performed on new partners, and represent the Operations function when assessing and onboarding new deals
- Support live deals with Third Parties (MGA's) from a Service Delivery perspective, ensuring high quality customer experience
- Take charge of iptiQ's Third Parties (MGA's) oversight responsibility in Italy, ensuring that services are in line with agreed terms and that our operational governance model is respected
- Coordinate outsourcing partners (internal and external) supporting the Italian team
- Collate, review and deliver regular Management Information and Key Performance reports (i. e.
Complaints reports, SLAs monitoring) to support business strategy
- Handle day-to-day queries and issues relating to business processing at the TPA, ensuring they are resolved in an appropriate and timely manner
- Handle ad hoc iptiQ projects and activities
**About the team
iptiQ EMEA L&H and P&C is part of Swiss Re Group, which handles all our closed and open life, health, property and casualty insurance portfolios across Europe.
We are a start-up, established to deliver innovative protection solutions sold direct to consumers through Distribution Partners.
Our team delivers the coordination, infrastructure and competences key to driving forward this new business, while working closely with the rest of the Swiss Re Group.
The role is part of our existing team in Italy to support the growth of our business.
We are looking for a forward-thinking and innovative self-starter to undertake this key support role for one of Swiss Re's pivotal initiatives.
**About you
- You have experience in Life, Health, Property and Casualty insurance administration and operations in Italy
- You know the distribution network (brokers, MGAs, TPAs) and insurance life, health, property and casualty products
- You demonstrate an ambitious mentality
- You are organized, structured and logical in management of tasks and workload
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- You enjoy leading work across multiple teams and facing off to key contacts & partners, those being internal or external
- You are Customer Service driven passionate about high quality customer care
- You are autonomous and able to collaborate strongly and actively with your partners, also in a virtual environment
- You are happy to work in an area that is fluid and developing - in addition, and you are comfortable in multitasking in such an environment.
- You are committed to accuracy, attention to detail and quality
- You feel comfortable in an area that is fluid and developing with priorities that change rapidly
- Proficiency in Italian and English (written and oral)
- You are proficient in MS Office, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint and advanced Excel
- Some Legal knowledge would be a plus.
