Main Purpose of the Role

Managing the Quality Operations team in order to provide the necessary services to the plant in terms of production quality assurance and problem solving, granting the fulfillment of the legal requirements, supporting the Production Value Streams in cooperation with all the factory depts, promoting the KION standards

Scope of the role (direct or indirect reports)

- Job holder reports directly to the Quality Manager of the plant, and manages the Quality Operations team.

- Individual tasks / interactions with all the plant and central functions at management level

- Production - all functions

- Product development and series Support

- Project management

Main Duties

- Coordination of the Operations team and resources / project management

- Application of the quality standards, requisites and best-practices

- Assurance of the legal requirements and quality standards

- To grant the Quality support to the Production Values streams

- To manage problem solving process and complaint management at Quality side

- To contribute to the operational results and KPIs

- Assurance of the process and product audit.

- Contribution to launch management granting Q. perspective

- Interaction with same role in other KION plants

- Qualifications/Experience Required

- Degree as Mechanical/Industrial engineer and/or comparable qualification & experience

- Experience in problem solving process and methods

- Experience in resources and projects management

- Experience in certified organizations as to ISO9001

- Experience in Product / Process Quality Management

- Knowledge of MS Office tools

- Knowledge of EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and related standards preferred

- Knowledge of ISO3834 preferred

- Six-sigma qualification preferred
