We deliver innovative mechanical engineering solutions for ground and space-based optical applications. We are seeking an OPTICAL ENGINEER to be involved in our project for development and design layout and systems for ground and space optical applications.

The ideal candidate has a passion to design, develop and test optical systems and components.

We're seeking a team player that can work alongside the engineering area, especially with mechanical, electronic and manufacturing departments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDefine detailed design of optical systemExecute optical performance analysisPerform tolerance analysis and optimize the design for manufacturability/integrationDefinition and management of error and performance budgetsDefine and design alignment setupPrepare alignment plan/procedurePrepare optical components requirement definition and specificationOptical coating specificationsDefine Optical components manufacturing drawingsContribute to AIT phases (optical tests, integration and optical alignment)Prepare high quality documentation (e. G.

design and analysis report, integration procedure and test report)Interaction with customers, subcontractors, and suppliersREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSUniversity degree in Physics or Optical EngineeringStrong analytical and problem-solving attitudeExperience in Optomechanical systems optical design and analysisKnowledge of Telescope configurations in VIS and NIR wavelength.

The knowledge in UV and IR ranges is an advantageExperience in optical alignment, in definition of optomechanical system measurement set upKnowledge of optical images processingKnowledge of optical metrology and set up (e.
