Responsibilities Hands on experience on Oracle DBA Excellent understanding of Database concepts including Procedures, Triggers, Packages, Database Constraints, Indexes using Oracle 11g Help in finding current issues and provide solutions to improve performance Build deployment packages and promote them to higher environments (UAT, Production, and COB) following SDLC Working knowledge of Linux Redhat, File System, Cluster Management, and Oracle ASMC and ACFS Manage and maintain databases across multiple environments Perform Database analysis and provide recommendations Work on the Database architecture design and performance optimization Develop automation scripts to improve platform efficiency Identify and recommend Database design and Data models Provide oversight on low-level design and technically guide the Development team Partner with Development organization and oversee DB landscape for portfolio Plan and manage existing/new DB Development and customize server configuration as per application needs Implement Index Strategy (i. e. , Fragmentation) Maintain Statistics and Update Statistics Performance Tuning, Server Config, and WAIT Stats HA Solutions DR/COB Solutions Application Entitlements and Security Review Archiving Historical Data Seniority Level Mid-Senior level
