Order Management Specialist

Position OverviewThe role is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient flow of material and products by planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring suppliers' orders and manufacturing work orders.
This position contributes to meet production schedules, manage inventory levels, minimize costs, and support manufacturing to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.
A potential candidate should possess strong analytic skills, attention to detail, and be a good team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Position ResponsibilitiesMaterial planning and scheduling: develop and maintain material requirements plan based on production scheduleCommodity management: collaborate with management to support procurement, assist in commodity business plans, assess market trends, pricing, and product availabilityTrack production volume and monitor customer demand patterns and purchasing trendsCost management: perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities (e. g.
materials, components, equipment, and services) according to the assigned KPILiaising with customers, suppliers, and distributorsSupplier coordinator: conduct supplier meetings, follow up on actions, and prepare reportsMonitor and upgrade supplier performance whilst maintaining good supplier relationships and expanding suppliers/vendors portfoliosSupport the procurement team in change management, part parameter updates, quote table maintenance, supplier database information, error report analysis, and part number/supplier code informationCreate and maintain bill of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systemsEnsure that Purchase Orders (POs) are created on time while proactively identifying risks and providing mitigation plansResponsible for data input and maintaining the integrity of the procurement business systemPosition RequirementsAssociate degree or certificate in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field3+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related positionStrong knowledge of material requirements planning and inventory management principlesProven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and manage responsibilities simultaneouslyRequires domestic or global expertise in production or manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with ERP systems, and experience in improving processes is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
