Outside Sales - Italy
We are looking for Outside Sales to add to our Genoa Sales Team.
Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesHandle the sales process for assigned customers (especially the needs analysis, solution design, and negotiation) by visiting customers. Sell products/services to assigned accounts. Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell to these accounts. Work alongside the Head of Sales, other Outside Sales, and Inside Sales throughout the sales process. Focus on maximizing short and long-term results. Act as the primary face of ZIM in the marketplace. Maintain direct contact (F2F) with the customers on an ongoing basis according to visit plan. Foster relationships with the assigned set of customers. Manage and grow accounts. Identify and qualify customers' sales potential, troubleshoot customer problems in important cases, and develop leads and new customers. Work to achieve (or surpass) the targets set. Comply with tracking requirements, and take required actions for facilitating comprehensive tracking of accounts' financial performance and client satisfaction. Advise the Head of Sales in the preparation of a detailed account plan for each of the accounts. Account plan for each account will include: Account's ZIM spend forecast, key insights from client's solution review, assessment of account's needs, proposed steps for growing account spend. Undergo the required training according to the training program. Comply with the tracking and reporting requirements to enable simple and insightful performance tracking. RequirementsProfessional and Personal SkillsCompleted apprenticeship in shipping or forwarding. Outgoing personality. Geographical knowledge. Team player. Ability to work under pressure. Willingness to work in an open-plan office. Languages: English (Scale 1 – 7): 5. MS Office: Word, Excel (Scale 1 – 7): 4. General GuidelinesComply with the company's information system and policy and ethic code. Comply with the company's guidelines and processes.
