On behalf of our Client a global pharmaceutical company, IQVIA is looking for an **Outsourcing Specialist and Contract Management R&D** who can join an exciting working environment in a dynamic atmosphere.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for the draft and execution of contracts of vendors providing externally contracted services bythe R&D (Discovery and Preclinical) department

- Acts as liaison with Legal, other R&D functions and suppliers to resolve issues and provide information, facilitating negotiation and issue resolution, ensuring contracts are in compliance with Company quality, business and corporate objectives

- Facilitate and improve R&D supplier management, contract negotiation and change order management.

Track contract amendments and budget modifications

- Assists Early Drug Discovery & Development Outsourcing Managers in Master Service Agreement negotiation and supplier relationship management, by providing documentation and analysis, in order to ensure compliance with GxP standards, when required, adequate level of services, competitive price levels, adequate commercial arrangements

- Assists Early Drug Discovery & Development Outsourcing Managers in the draft and finalization of the Annual Outsourcing Plansfor R&D departments

- Collects and reports vendor performance metrics to support vendor performance management activities and continuous improvement process

- Create and maintain the intranet suppliers' data base and Global R&D Outsourcing Management Repository

- Generate, improve and standardize contract, budget and cost planning templates to support integrated and aligned Global R&D Outsourcing Management approach.

- Execute role responsibilities according to GXP, shared value and ethical standards, supervising function processes and procedures

**REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS**:

- Scientific or Economic degree or higher

- At least 1 years of experience in a CRO/CDMO or Pharmaceutical company, possibly in the R&D procurement/OutsourcingManagement/ContractManagement area

- Basic understanding of pricing and contracting models for Outsourced services, of cost drivers and benchmarks

- Basic understanding of R&D processes (mainly Discovery and Preclinical) at Corporate and Local level

- Basic understanding of key drivers of Corporate - Local relationship, possibly with direct experience

- Leadership skills: plan & execute effectively, be resilient and learn from experience, build trust and confidence skills

- Academic background: UniversityDegree

- Language: fluent in English

- Availability to travel of up to 10%.

Role based in Global R&D HQ in Emilia Romagna

- Basic competences in accountancy
