Job Description Summary In your role as P, R & HEOR Manager you will provide the Country and Global organization with insights and evaluations regarding the Italian external context, to integrate the development of the Global strategies and to support the definition of a competitive Novartis IM products access strategy at local level.
You will be responsible for the development and the implementation of the market access plan and for all the tailored activities necessary to ensure a fast and lasting access for the Novartis IM products at national and regional level.
You will collaborate with the cross-functional teams to develop contents and plans aimed to manage the access challenges throughout the lifecycle product.
The P, R and HEOR manager positively and constructively challenges the status quo to improve the access to Novartis innovative therapies for patients.
Job Description Key responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Finalize and execute timely and high-quality P&R strategy and plan, in alignment with the product life cycle objectives. Analyze insights coming from the field on regional access issues and opportunities, anticipating changes in the regional healthcare landscape and act as the access partner for the product team, working cross-functionally with Sales, Medical, Marketing and all the Value and Access team participating in all major cross-functional teams at global/region and country level. Gather and generate appropriate and high-quality RWE and Health Economics evidence (HTA, CEA, BIA, burden of disease, indirect costs evaluation, literature analysis, etc) to demonstrate value to stakeholders, obtaining and maintaining access leveraging on the value of our products. Support/collaborate with HQ and Field roles, collecting stakeholder's information and developing structured analysis to support strategies and action plans definition (particularly on access/economic issues at regional level). Assure the roll-out of specific "partnership projects" built on key stakeholders needs understanding, in full compliance with regulatory and ethical requirements. Ensure the Field access team is constantly aligned and supported with appropriate, timely and valuable tools. Manage the regional listing plans definition and implementation, engaging regional stakeholders and regional key influencers. Coordination of cross-functional Team for the preparation of Regional Access Plan, accountable for the preparation of Dossier for regional listing and supports APM. Essential Requirements: University Degree (Science, Economics or similar). Preferably but not mandatory a post-graduate Master in Market Access and Health Economics. Italian and English on a fluent level. At least 1 year in the pharmaceutical sector with an experience in Market Access or HEOR roles (including internships) and/or in Commercial or Medical roles. Technical knowledge in disciplines related to market access such as pricing, HEOR, statistics, epidemiology. Good clinical and commercial strategic thinking. Able to translate strategic insights into practical initiatives to support the value of projects. Knowledge and understanding of payer/HTA/Healthcare system environment and evolution. Proven capability in suitable real-world evidence generation and clinical trial design for market access purposes.
