Job Description:Manpower Permanent Professional, a headhunting company specialized in middle management profiles, is looking for a Packaging Designer for a client based in the province of Varese.
The candidate will be integrated into the design and packaging project division.
We are looking for an enterprising, competent Packaging Designer who can face new challenges with preparation, determination, and tenacity.
The ideal person will be able to collaborate with internal and external teams, maintaining a positive and welcoming work environment, and contributing with their technical and relational skills to shared success.
Responsibilities include:
Design packaging solutions using CAD software (ArtiosCad), meeting specific client needs. Evaluate and test innovative and sustainable materials with suppliers and internal teams (especially Sales and Quality). Develop prototypes and test the quality of solutions using the internal testing laboratory. Support the production department in optimizing processes. Stay proactively updated on innovations in the packaging sector and materials. Requirements: Technical education (e. g. , industrial design, engineering, or related fields). Experience using CAD software for packaging design (ArtiosCad or similar). Curiosity, perseverance, and problem-solving skills. Excellent relational and collaborative skills with clients and internal teams. Knowledge of the English language (level B1), both written and spoken. Aptitude for teamwork and creating a collaborative work environment. Previous experience in managing bills of materials (BOM) and responding to requests for quotes (RFQ) is a plus, as well as having a portfolio of functional packaging projects. We will consider candidates with experience in cardboard and PE.
