Mission: We are looking for a Packaging Development Project Manager, based in Milan or Paris.

This role reports to the Global Packaging Development & Quality Director.

The Project Manager Packaging Development is responsible for the development of new products according to the brand's standards in terms of quality, costs, and deadlines, while complying with the regulations in force.

She/He ensures the smooth running of projects to meet product launch dates.

Provide packaging technical expertise to Marketing during the creation phase and assess the technical feasibility of new projects.

Initiate the development schedule for new projects, define specifications, and brief suppliers.

Ensure supplier capability based on social and environmental criteria, production capacity, quality level, and lead times, in collaboration with the Procurement Team.

Monitor suppliers to ensure development deadlines are met and quality complies with standards defined by the brand.

Integrate technical constraints of industrialization during the product design phase.

Support the Procurement Team in conducting COG studies and project tooling budget evaluation.

Analyze potential risks with the project team, propose back-up solutions, and activate associated action plans.

Maintain proactive monitoring of marketing and technical innovations to propose innovative solutions.

Maintain all reporting tools necessary for project monitoring: KPI, dashboard, project monitoring, and raise alerts for managerial arbitration.

Requirements: Experience of at least 3 years in similar positions, preferably in the cosmetic industry.

In-depth knowledge of the Office package.

Availability to travel.

Flexibility and ability to interface with various internal and external interlocutors, good communication skills, and relationship and negotiation skills.
