Paid Search Manager

As a Digital Performance Manager, you will play a vital role in both the strategy and execution of the YNAP group paid search program.
The role will report into the Head of Digital Performance Marketing, supporting the business by managing the team's execution of day to day operations.
You will work across all global search engines, supporting the creation/optimisation of new/existing accounts, as well as lead on testing and reporting objectives alike.
Here is a breakdown of what you'll be doing:
- Support the Head of Digital Performance Marketing across all relevant paid search channels and platforms
- Own monthly and weekly budget pacing; rationalize regional distribution
- Act as primary point of contact with site and trading teams to report on performance and share short and midterm action plan
- Work closely with your peers and leads to ensure operations are aligned across YNAP brands: Setup workshops to define and align paid search structures, logics and processes across brands and account structure
- Drive strategic test initiatives across the business (ROAS vs. CLTV, customer and audience segmentation, margin vs. revenue, etc.
)
- Liaise with the data and analytics and insights team to identify signal ingestion opportunities, in particular for product feeds
- Manage relationships with external agencies for specific markets
- Coach and mentor your team to develop their skills and competencies
- Manage your team and help them prioritize initiatives based on the business' immediate and long-term needs
- Champion agile methodology and act as scrum master for everything paid search
- Increase test and learn velocity and ensure every decision is driven by data
- Ensure accounts have optimal setup for your team to operate in the most efficient way possible
- Work with your team to identify site enhancement opportunities to influence product roadmap
- Ensure documentation on operational principles is constantly provided
The type of person we are looking for:
- Experienced team manager with 5+ years of Paid Search experience - excellent knowledge of search engine paid advertising products, features, settings and optimisation possibilities
- Understanding of bidding and attribution tools, with the ability to optimise accordingly
- Strong experience/understanding of GMC & product feeds favourable
- Proven hands-on experience setting up and optimising paid search accounts across multiple search engines
- Detail-oriented and responsive, with strong quantitative skills - you must be able to analyse data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations as needed
- Adaptable and able to flex with changes in prioritisation, in order to meet new or changed goals
- Hands on, numbers and results driven
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of the box for creative solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good relationship and management skills - a positive and generous team player, open to sharing ideas and knowledge
- Concrete general knowledge of (and passion for) all areas of digital marketing and media
