Part 147 Technical Instructor - Bergamo
Part 147 Technical Instructor Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for a Part 147 Technical Training Instructor to join the Engineering Training department. We are looking for someone who is passionate about aviation and interested in teaching a wide range of aircraft engineering topics to our staff, whether at the start of their career or at the top of their profession. The successful candidate will promote training and support the highest standards we maintain within the company.
The successful person will be responsible for ensuring:
Delivery of all technical training to engineering staff to the highest industry standards, including but not limited to: Delivery of Part 147 theoretical and practical training Meeting EASA/UK CAA instructor requirements Delivery of specialised type-specific training Preparing technical training and improving our current courses Development of instructor materials (course outlines, lesson plans, background material, instructional materials, and training aids) Conversance with EASA regulations and ensuring regular review of all procedures/regulations relevant to the training course being delivered Ability to develop and approve training material using various training delivery methods (classroom, eLearning, Virtual, etc. ) Capability of delivering technical training in a practical manner Maintaining and developing the training centres for further learning enhancements across all levels of training Demonstrating a hands-on attitude Strong organisational skills and the ability to build and deliver effective training programs to meet the training requirements Clear communication (written & oral) and presentation skills We are looking for someone to join our team who has experience in aircraft technical training or within aircraft engineering. The successful candidate should be keen to learn, provide new ideas to the training team, and interact openly with a wider network. You must also be a great communicator as you will be working with different nationalities, diversities, and ages. We are looking for someone who is meticulous, has a good attitude, and is a fun, positive, and open-minded person.
Requirements Must hold a UK/EASA Part 66 Licence or Aerospace Engineering degree or have evidence of previous employment in aircraft technical training Ideally hold Part 147 Type certificates for Boeing 737 NG, MAX Experience in aircraft engineering and working physically on the aeroplane Experience in reviewing regulations/compliance-based procedures A keen eye for detail and the ability to escalate issues to the management team Ability to plan and work to deadlines set by management teams Good working knowledge of Office 365 and a willingness to learn new programs/software tools Ability to scrutinise and provide constructive critique where non-compliance may be found Effective communication skills to interact with the team through all types of communication (verbal, face-to-face, virtual) Open-mindedness, eagerness to learn new skills, and bring new ideas to the team Strong work ethic and responsibility for completing work in a timely manner Flexibility and adaptability to change quickly Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Ability to seek solutions and address them to the management team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must hold a valid UK/EU passport and be willing to travel as required by the business
