About the Online Teacher Position We are looking for a part-time virtual art substitute teacher to join our qualified team of educators.

Your work will help students cultivate interest in their education and support them throughout the entire process of learning and development.

Your duties will include providing knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills.

You should be passionate about this job and able to reach out to students, creating a relationship of mutual trust.

We expect you to know well how to organize a class and make learning an easy and meaningful process.

As this is a substitute position, certification is not necessary, but teaching experience in some capacity (classroom, private lessons, etc. )

is valued.

Pay is $30/hour and planning/grading time is paid as well.

Our semester begins next week, so we are looking to make an immediate hire once we find the right candidate for this position.

This is a fully remote position.

Teacher Responsibilities: Reside in the United States (any state) Be available to teach live during these class times: Monday Noon PST/3PM EST, Tuesday 1PM PST/4PM EST, and Wednesday 1PM PST/4PM EST.

Possess a passionate belief that online education is the ideal school option for many children in grades K-12 and work to inspire learning and passion within all students.

Believe every child learns in unique ways and is capable of success.

Possess the ability to build rapport with both the student and the parent in a collaborative environment.

Have experience teaching in a relevant classroom (in-person, online, in studio, etc. ).

Conduct lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning.

Assist each student individually by promoting interactive learning.

Monitor and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback.

Teacher Requirements: MUST reside in the United States.

Associate's Degree.

Ability to pass a background check.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Organized, energetic, committed, and having a creative approach to tasks.

Strong moral values and discipline.

Ability to quickly learn new technological tools (Learning Management Systems, Online Schools, web-conferencing tools, etc. ).
