The **Modern Work and Surface** **Partner Development Manager (PDM)** role in the Global Partner Solutions (GPS) organization is a sales role that is accountable for driving the sales and growth of Modern Work and Surface through partners across customer segments.

**Responsibilities**:
**Microsoft Business Leader
- Builds and maintains a trusted-advisor relationship with C-suite leaders of complex partners to achieve strategic alignment and drive growth for Modern Work and Surface.
- Develops and executes strategic partner business plans aligned with field goals and objectives for all managed partners.
- Leads partners to convert capacity and capability to revenue by setting clear revenue targets and providing coaching and guidance.
- Leads the creation of a long-range strategic vision for the partnership and conveys the value of partnering with Microsoft.
**Partner Sales
- Coaches and challenges partners to transform their plans and strategies around key targets.
- Develops Modern Work and Surface go-to-market and co-selling strategies with complex partners.
- Leads campaigns with various functional areas and the partners marketing teams.
**Partner Performance and Impact
- Ensures results on partner's behalf through resolution of complex and urgent escalations.
- Ensures partners are investing in building world-class teams.
**Specialty Responsibilities
- Develops partner recruitment plans to recruit new partners or expand current partnerships.

**Required/Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field AND several years of experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- Full proficiency (both written and verbal) in Italian AND English.
**Additional or Preferred Qualifications**:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Business Science, or an advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or a related field AND several years of experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
