Job Description:Develop existing Digital Science accounts growing the software and services portfolioSuccessfully prospect for new business across the territoryProactively meet with customers throughout the region on a regular basis to ensure customer satisfactionManage existing partner in the assigned territory and identify new partnerEnsure implementation schedules and support activities are aligned with commitments to customers and to managementManage the contract review process and negotiationBuild commitment and closure at each stage of the sales processConduct, where applicable, quarterly account reviews and updates the account plans on a regular basis to reflect progress and market changesMaintain and update a list of prospects within a centralized CRM systemQualify potential opportunities early in the sales cycle and manage the pipeline to ensure that opportunities are pursued in a timely way and revenue expectations are metProvide realistic sales forecasts to management and communicate any significant changes or developmentsCollaborate with other groups within Thermo to implement appropriate strategies to address business opportunities and overcome obstaclesRequirements: Proven software sales experience preferably at enterprise level within a scientific domainFluency in English and Italian (verbal and written) is mandatory, other European languages is a plusScientific, Business Administration or IT degree - preferredAccount Planning & Customer Management BackgroundExperience in cooperating with local channel partnersAbility to drive new business development activities as well as to negotiate and close sales contractsWillingness to travel 50% - 75%At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 75, 000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
