We are seeking a Patent Engineer to join our Patent Department within the Technical Research group.

We are open to candidates based in Milan, Padua, or our headquarters in Feltre.

You will monitor and support all kinds of R&D projects in the HVAC field, helping the department both in the retrieval of insight industry documentation (patents and papers) and in drafting innovation proposals, collecting the R&D group's ideas and new technical solutions to feed into the Patent Department pipeline.

Specific Responsibilities Include: Identify and collect relevant information from R&D projects in order to timely draft innovation proposals; Assist, facilitate, and coordinate technical documentation searches (patents + papers) for new company R&D lines; Ensure visibility and eventually assess the risk of a technological choice/solution, evaluating third-party existing rights and technology; Communicate research insights effectively through presentations; Maintenance of company IP repository and internal database; Collaborate seamlessly with external agencies, internal and external stakeholders engaged in R&D IP projects.

Requirements & Skills: Academic degree in engineering, physics, or STEM in general; At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar position in an IP agency or company R&D; Knowledge of patent law, both national and international; Experience in drafting and prosecution of patent applications; Experience in IP and scientific literature searches (Patsnap, Orbit, Espacenet, Google Scholar, etc.

); Ability to summarize and report complex subject matter, both with text and graphics; Proficient in English, both written and spoken; Italian is a plus.
