We are looking for a Patent Engineer to join the technical team of our esteemed client, a global leader in licensing intellectual property rights, with 40 years of industry presence.

He/she will work closely with the technical experts to provide support to the licensing and business development teams.

Key Responsibilities:Patent portfolios analysis / due diligence especially in the context of standardized technologies for mobile communications, such as 3GPP standards (4G, 5G), IEEE 802. 11, and digital multimedia technologies. Drafting or assessments of "Evidence of use" (claim chart). Investigation on technology adoption and potential patent infringement. Patent/technology landscape searches on patent databases. Assistance in patent licensing and litigation matters, patent acquisitions. Development of conformance/infringement tests. Minimum Requirements:A master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or Computer Science. Knowledge of the patent system. Fluency in English. Ability to organize and prioritize the workload to meet deadlines and daily requirements. Aptitude to work effectively both independently and with others in a cooperative manner to accomplish the assigned tasks and participate in team efforts. A plus is the knowledge of the telecommunications technologies especially related to 3GPP (4G, 5G) and IEEE 802. 11 radio interface protocols.
