To strengthen our **Patient Access & External Engagement** team, based in **Milan**, Italy, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of**:Patient Access Solution Lead Neurology.

As a **Patient Access Solution Lead Neurology**, you will identify and foster purposeful partnerships with key scientific influencers to drive new sources of patient value.

**You will contribute by**:

- Be part of developing the strategy utilizing payer and system insights to inform UCB Neurology Patient Value Unit strategic and operational plans.

- Be responsible of developing appropriate tools and solutions to ensure Patient Access Partners in Neurology are equipped, trained and supported on Market Access solutions.

- Collaborating externally and internally on initiatives that support optimal use of our products.

- Develop access tools, solutions and frameworks to allow optimal positioning of our medicines on pathways for example, support funding decisions, service changes or disease management reviews.

- Supporting the generation of innovative value-based contracts local and regional, and datasets that support the Neurology portfolio and improve patient care.

- Support the Healthcare process (especially regionally and locally), Neurology policies and funding flows and share knowledge to enable colleagues to be successful in the day to day activities.

For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills**:

Substantial experience in the Italian healthcare environment.

- Previous experience in market access and account management (3-5 years in Pharma required), field experience would be preferred.

- Demonstrate ability to plan at business unit level of complexity.

- Preferentially

- previous experience in the Immunology, Neurology or Rare diseases.

- Excellent knowledge of NHS structures, processes & policies, funding flows, decision making.

Robust understanding of access strategies and tactical development.

- Therapeutic area experience (Immunology) is preferred

- Strong project management and inter-personal skills.

- Proven working collaboratively.

- Pro-activity.

- Project management experience.

- Problem solving with the ability to work taking initiative when needed.

- Fully competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to a minimum or intermediated level.

- Good level of English is required.
