**Job Purpose
The Payor Value and Patient Access Manager interacts with regional and local health authorities and with the associations of doctors and patients, who in various ways are involved in the definition and management of health care processes, with the aim of ensuring the best access of the company's drugs in the regional and local prontuaries with the aim of promoting appropriate and equitable health care for all patients in the region of competence.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure regional/local formulary products approvals and regional reimbursement activities for EMBU and Rare Disease KKI franchise.
- Build the network and manage the relationships with regional and account stakeholders: identification and interactions with influencers and opinion groups.
- Inspire, support, and ensure the development of documents for granting formulary listing product inclusion at regional and account level
- Implementation of national market access and government affairs strategy on local level.
- Presentation of value arguments to customers and development of Public and Government Affairs activities for the assigned territory.
- Actively mapping risks and opportunities for KKI business deriving from new regional pharmaceuticals policies
- Identify and pursue opportunities for partnerships with the regional/account administration
- Support local process in regional tendering in line with commercial policies and in coordination with customer service department
- Support meeting organization with payers and pharmacists, also supported by Medical Department, on Payor Value and Patient Access related topics.
- Preparation and implementation of the regional plans both for EMBU and Rare Disease Franchise, in strict collaboration with sales, medical and marketing Dept.
- Be an active part of the Payor Value and Patient Access team and responsible for national projects when needed
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Health Sciences (Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology, etc) or Economics.
- Professional experience, at least 4 years in the healthcare sector and/or pharmaceutical industry
- Former experience as Payor Value and Patient Access/Government Affairs position with proven track record of at least 3 years.
- Fluency in English
- A strong network of contacts in authorities is desirable
- Knowledge of the institutional dynamics and introduction in the payor network in selected regions
- Proven expertise in interpersonal and relationship building skills is required along with strong influencing & negotiating skills.
- Jobholders must have a thorough understanding of relevant marketplace for their role.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power point and Word.
- Ability to embrace change
