Payroll Responsible Italy
About this opportunity**:
We are now looking for a responsible for Italy E2E payroll process, able to perform HR Delivery tasks according to local rules and legislation, perform analysis, suggest improvements on processes, tools and procedures and supervise the payroll organization, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
Run and participate in HR Delivery projects.
Manage local vendors and contracts.
To be successful in this role, you should have a great familiarity with data and numbers and be able to handle sensitive information.
You're also familiar with labor legislation and legal/contractual aspects and able to deal with Public Authorities and Social Institute!
**What you will do**:
- Collate data from payroll sources.
- Arrange weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports.
- Supervise and direct payroll team to meet deadlines.
- Administer benefit plans.
- Be knowledgeable about and understand new legislation impacting payroll.
- Ensure payroll is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Review payroll policies and amend procedures when required.
- Oversee the preparation of payroll related documents.
- Organize current employee data systems.
- Supervise the accurate processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions and terminations.
- Maintain accurate account balances.
- Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements and support internal and external audits related as such.
- Resolve issues relating to payroll production.
- Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Ensures compliance with fiscal and contribution authorities, and secure local payroll rules, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
**You will bring**:
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably within Law, Economics or Statistics
- Experience of 8+ years in Payroll and Administration Processes, tasks, deliverables and responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
- Excellent organizational skills, accurate documenting skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills and ability to work on a team
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Accounting and finance skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with payroll software
- Perform Audit accounting processes
- Knowledgeable in managing processes
- Provide project support as well as HR delivery and data
- Presentation and communication skills
- Proactive, positive mind-set
- International working environment experience
- Risk assessment and decision-making
- Proficiency in English language
- Knowledge of SuccessFactors tool is a plus
