Pd & Pre-Industrialization Specialist -Kids - Maternity Cover
Position**:
The PD & Pre-Industrialization Specialist will work in the Woman and Kids team with a focus on the Kids collection collaborating directly with the Senior Manager.
The resource will support the relationships with the laboratories involved in the product realization processes both in the prototype and sample phases as well as in the production phases, to ensure the correct execution and realization of the products and the respect of quality standards.
**Job responsibilities**:
In particular, the resource will:
- Handle the fitting of the first canvases and prototypes once the collection structure is defined;
- Support the Design Team by using the technical skills of tailoring and pattern making in order to find optimal solutions for external suppliers;
- Analyze, track, and collect all the data and information needed to fine-tune the garment during the collection development with suppliers, including:
- Attend meetings with the Accessories and Textile Research & Purchasing teams for discussion on critical issues found during sample definition;
- Provide external laboratories with the necessary technical-quality information on components, models, product requirements, etc. , working with the Product Development team and taking care of the defect clearance activities;
- Control the labeling system that will be forwarded to Production and entered into the system (PLM).
- Act as administrative support by participating in all fittings, taking necessary notes, and fill the sheets for garment realization;
- Control prototypes and potentially measure garments;
**Profile**:
- Bachelor or master's degree in Product Management or similar;
- At least 2/3 years of previous experience in the role and in the sector.
- Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office, previous knowledge of PLM/AS400 is considered a plus.
- Willing to business trip in Italy and abroad to visit subsidiaries and suppliers.
