**People & Culture Partner (Fixed-term contract 5 months)
Location: Milan, Italy
**This is what you will do**:
The People & Culture Partner (P&C Partner) is responsible for successfully ensuring world-class experience for all Alexion employees in Italy, as well as partnering as a valued team member within the broader HR community internationally and globally.
This includes being accountable for all HR operational tasks within a defined remit for the Italian affiliate ensuring full compliance and alignment with both global standards and local requirements, being the first point of contact for employees on a broad range of HR-related topics.
The incumbent will ensure that all employee
- and people manager-related matters are treated with confidentiality.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Handles employees HR-related questions and requests in a timely manner
- Supports in hire and onboarding for new employees
- Support in off-boarding (employees leaving company) as well as transferring employees appropriately
- Prepare payroll data and manage the relationship with the Payroll team and external provider, ensuring accuracy of payroll process
- Ensure the quality of all personnel administration
- Ensure the quality and timely updates of HR master databases and personnel files with employee data as/when required (Excel, SAP, Org Plus, outlook etc.
).
- Manage all employment documentation, such as preparing employment contracts and other hire-related documents, preparing promotion letter, contract addendums, maternity letters, and supporting the Senior P&C Partner in other activities
- Maintain and update online calendar for meetings, report deadlines, etc.
**You will need to have**:
- Bachelor and/or master's degree in relevant field, e. g. economic sciences, business administration or equivalent; alternatively completed vocational education in Personnel Management or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience
- Minimum 2 years of Generalist HR experience required
- Fluency in Italian as well as English both written and oral mandatory
- Knowledge of National Labour Contract "Industria chimica e farmaceutica"
- Demonstrates strong learning agility with ability to handle multiple and changing priorities
- High commitment; self-motivated; optimistic attitude and mind set, strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal savvy, highly self-driven and self-motivated
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service approach with excellent oral and written communication
- Nice to have: Experience in a Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology environment
