Located in the pop San Lorenzo district, Soho House Rome, is a private members club with 69 bedrooms, a rooftop pool, a gym, a cinema, 3 F&B outlets, and events spaces.

**The role**. . .

To be responsible for all People & Development of Soho House Rome in line with Company standards ensuring the compliance with all local requirements related to Human Resources.

ADMINISTRATION

- To be responsible for the employee lifecycle from starters administration to processing leaver's paperwork

- To report monthly employee turnover and other statistics as required by the company or local regulations

- Payroll process and cycle

- Manage time and attendance

- Check correct utilization of employee locker rooms and manage the entire uniform process

RECRUITMENT

- To issue contracts of employment to any successful applicants

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

- To work closely with Department Heads providing support where necessary e. g.

investigations

- To deal with grievances and implement disciplinary procedures

- To interpret and advise on employment law when required

BENEFITS, REWARD & RECOGNITION

- To co-ordinate with Department Heads to recognise "month" employees

- To promote team events e. g.

well-being or sports or CSR

- To conduct spot checks on team meals and feedback to General Manager & Head Chef

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

- To facilitate Company Induction - monthly or otherwise

- To support Learning & Development Manager in Europe by promoting training activities for the Teams

- To support Soho House Rome "Trainer" who is responsible for facilitating and co-ordinating training across the site as and when required

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years experience working in a HR role previously at a similar level, preferably within the hospitality environment

- Local qualification in Human Resources

- Passionate about the hospitality industry, people, and numbers.

- Proven track record in leadership in a luxury/upscale property.

- Comprehensive knowledge of TeamSystem Payroll.

- Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders.

- Excellent people skills with a strong ability to communicate and listen effectively.

- Fluent level of English.

Only those People Manager who are eligible to work in Italy or have a valid Italian work permit/visa will be considered for the above position.
