WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT DAY TO DAY
This People Partner role is a new and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic & career focused People Partner to join the Camlin People Team.
The role will be based at our busy regional office in Parma Italy which is one of the centres for excellence within the Camlin Group.
The Italian People Partner will provide support for effective and innovative HR Services to the wider business and specifically to the local Italian teams.
The Italian People Partner will be supporting stakeholders to create a winning culture as a people champion in line with the larger Camlin global strategy.
As a key member of the Global People Team this person will be working collaboratively with the People Team in Lisburn, Northern Ireland and all other Camlin stakeholders.
He or she will support the development and execution of the Italian local people programs and ensure the delivery of best practice strategies and alignment to Camlin's culture and values.
He or she will have a proven track record of being a true adviser contributing to the growth and improvement of the business.
As a business partner they will have a broad experience in all aspects of generalist Human Resource practices, especially excellent knowledge of Italian labour law, statutory employer obligations, recruitment, employee relations and employee engagement, as well as some experience within training and development.
Experience within working for agile, international businesses is essential as is fluency in both English and Italian.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acting as a single point of the contact for the employees and managers in the business unit ( between Bologna and Parma's Office)
- Working closely with the People Team in Lisburn and local team managers to help set roles & responsibility across the regional Italian offices, including identifying top talent, and supporting local recruitment and selection activities
- Liase with external provider in order to proper execute and process Payslip activities
- Ensuring employment policies and decisions are up to date and applied consistently across the Italian regional offices, and that they are aligned with best practice and up to date with Italian employment laws and changes
- Demonstrate understanding of business needs and trends to help drive the business forward.
- Collaborating with the global people Team members of Camlin, you will ensure our global process and policies are deployed locally while making sure they remain adapted to the local context.
- Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex local people related issues
- Assist with the development and implementation of company policies, handbooks, initiatives, benefits and procedures.
- Supporting the cultural transformation, organizing engagement & developmental activities.
- Support managers with key employee relations in aspects of pay and reward, performance, attendance management, disciplinary & grievance issues
- Prepare written materials for documentation and conveying information.
- Consult and advise management on employment matters and to ensure compliance with local legal and administrative requirements
- Maintaining and coordinating induction & staff training schedules as required
- Provide standard reports, handle ad-hoc report requests, and provide HR analytics on demand
- Ensure that accurate employee records and data is maintained - Assistance with administrative and transactional activities related to the employment life cycle and managed through our HRM platform - Bamboo.
