We are currently seeking a Permitting Engineer, reporting directly to TPIDL Environmental Division Head to join our permitting team based in Italy, Rome.

About the Job

She/He will be responsible for developing the permitting documentation for projects in the energy and infrastructure sector, through:

- environmental data and technical documentation collection, analysis and management;

- development of technical documentation in the field of permitting:

environmental impact assessment studies, landscape assesment, VINCA, soil management plans;

- external specialists Coordination,

- investigation / monitoring activities Coordination,

- Meetings with Clients, Competent Authorities and site survey.

Availability to travel for meetings and site surveys in Italy every two weeks on average.

About You

We'd loveto hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

minimum 4 year of experience in permitting and environmental impact assessment, gained in infrastructure projects or onshore / offshore plants.

Experience in international projects is welcome.

Qualifications:

deep knowledge of Italian environmental legislation, in particular environmental impact assessment, permitting, constraints analysis, soil management, waste management, soil characterization and remediation, environmental monitoring, Seveso legislation.

Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology or similar.

Preferential criteria:

ArcGIS use

Knowledge of foreign languages:

English fluent

Main Skills:

teamwork, enthusiasm and proactivity, curiosity in dealing with new issues
