This position offers the opportunity to support the Permitting Manager in managing regulatory approval processes for biogas projects, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and legal requirements.

About the Role – Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations related to biomethane production and distribution.

Permitting Process : Support the entire authorization process, from initial applications to final approvals, collaborating with relevant authorities.

Documentation : Prepare detailed technical documentation, including environmental impact assessments, permit applications, and other required reports.

Stakeholder Coordination : Engage with regulatory agencies, environmental organizations, and other key stakeholders to facilitate a transparent and cooperative permitting process.

Policy Updates : Stay informed about changes in environmental policies and regulations, ensuring the company's practices align with the latest standards.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Approximately 5 years of experience in permitting, preferably in the renewable energy or biogas sector.

Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.

Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Problem-solving skills to address challenges in the permitting process.

Preferred Skills Familiarity with biomethane/biogas production technologies.

Experience working with government agencies and environmental consultants.
