Permitting Manager

I have a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Permitting Manager to join my global Client's construction management team in Bologna, Italy, on a permanent hybrid/smart working role.

The Permitting Manager will be responsible for managing all the necessary permitting obligations during the construction phase of multiple solar and battery storage projects throughout Italy.

**The Permitting Manager's role will involve, but not be limited to**:

- the implementation of activities as highlighted in the main permit and in the relevant authority recommendations (pareri enti).

- you will be part of the EPC construction team working with the PMs and project director to ensure alignment between the permitting process and the construction and will proactively engage with them to ensure that such activities have been considered in the budget and in the schedule of work.

- you will be liaising with authorities and third-party companies to ensure the fulfilment of the sponsor and EPC company obligations.

**Essential Skills / Qualifications**:

You will be expected to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- degree qualified within an engineering, or similar, discipline

- previous experience in a similar role

- knowledge of the solar and battery storage technology is considered as a plus

- fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken) is a prerequisite.

- must be located in Italy

- must be comfortable with frequent travel
