Personal Care Worker | Rivervale - Tuesday & Thursday Shifts | SpecialisedRight at Home provides exceptional in-home care across Perth's Eastern and Southern suburbs. We are currently seeking compassionate Personal Care Workers skilled in sign language and the Braille alphabet to support clients with visual and hearing impairments in Rivervale and surrounding areas. Shifts are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays as part of our commitment to providing unique care to meet diverse client needs.

About the Role:

As a Personal Care Worker, you'll provide personalised, client-centred care to visually and hearing-impaired clients, with a specific focus on using sign language and Braille to enhance communication and support independence. You will assist clients with daily living activities, providing companionship and tailored support in a positive, respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities: Use sign language and Braille to communicate effectively with clients who have visual and hearing impairments. Provide personal care and companionship according to each client's tailored care plan. Assist with daily activities, including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, and mobility, to support independence. Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment by assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation. Keep accurate daily notes on client progress and promptly report any concerns to the RN/Care Manager. Work closely with Registered Nurses and the care team to ensure high-quality, holistic care that respects each client's unique needs. Why Join Us?
