Personnel Assistant
Duties: Assists the Personnel Office and the RIC with personnel matters related to: Civil Service position creation, Civil Service exam notification, and paperwork processing (personnel changes required for Civil Service payroll certification); the maintenance of complex personnel databases for the purpose of tracking applicants, employee appointments, employee data, employment notices; Parent Square, etc. and prepares reports based on this information; posts Vacancy Notices, online postings and newspaper ads; schedules interviews and makes offers to potential employees; assists the RIC in benefit explanation to potential and current employees; scanning of personnel records; prepares personnel correspondence and does all related filing; telephone assistance. Related duties.
Qualifications: Two year degree in Office Technologies, Business, Public Administration, Human Resources, Accounting or related field and 2 years clerical experience involving financial or personnel transactions using computer software; or high school with 4 years experience required. Excellent computer skills involving Microsoft Office applications, especially Access, necessary. Must be able to track multiple projects. Civil Service position subject to exam.
Location of Position: Verona, District Offices
Term of Employment: 12 Month Position
Salary: Commensurate with background and experience. Range: $40, 501-$53, 025
