Caselton Clark is proud to partner with Chiesi Farmaceutici in their search for a dynamic, innovative, and experienced **European Patent Attorney** to join their Corporate IP department.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a world-renowned pharmaceutical company, headquartered in Parma, Italy, involving periodic travel to the Italian headquarters for collaboration and team meetings.

**Role Overview**:

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct prior art investigations and draft patentability assessments.

- Provide advice on infringement and validity matters.

- Monitor and assess third-party patents.

- Conduct due diligence.

- Provide support to opposition and litigation proceedings.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a Pharma-related field.

- Qualified as a European patent attorney.

- Solid understanding of chemical/pharma inventions and a willingness to broaden technical skills, including IP definition of medical devices.

- Self-driven, flexible, innovative, and creative mindset combined with a strong customer orientation, interpersonal and communication skills.

- At least 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Intellectual Property Departments) or IP/Law Firms.

**Language Skills**:

Fluency in English is a must.
