Your Role and Responsibilities The Photonic Engineer will: Manufacture quantum integrated photonic circuits, overseeing the entire process from fabrication to characterization. Continuously improve our processes, focusing on both fabrication enhancements and the development of innovative techniques for photonic characterization. Actively participate in the setting up of new laboratories. What We're Looking For Ph D in Experimental Photonics or at least three years of experimental photonics experience in industry. Broad knowledge and practical experience with photonic lab tools such as optical fibers, polarization optics, imaging systems, modulators, autocorrelators, spectrometers, photodiodes and beam diagnostics, laser diodes, etc. Expertise in at least two of these areas: fundamentals of integrated guided optics; design and/or fabrication of integrated photonic circuits; integrated circuit characterization; operation and maintenance of fs-laser sources; photonic measurements automation. Experience (1 year) in femtosecond micromachining not necessary but highly valued. Excellent programming skills and positive programming attitude. Knowledge of Python language is desirable.
