OverviewThe Physical Therapy Assistant implements treatment programs established by the Physical Therapist for patients of all ages.
He/she supervises ancillary staff with delivery of patient care and with department activities. The qualified candidate possesses the following:A. Education1.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant curriculumB.
Experience1.
Prior experience as a PTA or other experience in the physical therapy setting preferred2.
Demonstrated competence in the care of populations served which may include neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. C.
Licensure/Certification1.
Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the state of Georgia #J-18808-Ljbffr
