Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Physician Assistant is responsible for primary care to patients acting as an assistant to physicians in the clinic, following established standards and practices. Responsibilities/Duties:

Obtains complete medical history and physical data on patients. Interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures needed. Performs a complete physical exam and records findings. Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients. Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures. Synthesizes data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention. Administers medication and injections according to physician direction. Maintains and reviews patients records, charts and other pertinent information. Triages patient telephone calls and provides consultation. Performs other related duties as requested by the Clinical Manager. Education and/or Experience:

Graduate of an accredited school, Physicians Assistant program. Women's health / OB experience is preferred. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
