We are currently seeking a Piping Engineer Senior (more than 10 years experience), reporting directly to the Piping Section Head, to join our Engineering team based in Italy, Rome Operating Center.

About the Job

You will work inside the Piping Section that is in charge of the development of the plant design for Proposals, Basic Engineering Design up to Detail Engineering Design.

Key interaction of Piping Engineer are internally with Project teams, Process Department, Construction Department and other engineering disciplines; externally with Clients (technical specialists) and Engineering Service Suppliers.

The role and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Work under coordination of Project Piping Leader;Coordinate and supervise work of Piping Engineers under his responsibility;Ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project technical documentation;Ensure that operational methods are applied correctly, in accordance with the job specifications, procedures and company quality system;Study equipment layout with the aim of developing the Plot Plan;Study piping routing with the aim of developing the Piping Layout;Perform the piping material take-off, in order to define the material needs for construction;Actively participate in the 3D model development, coordinating and supervising relevant activity of his working group;Review Vendors documentation;Manage production of documents useful for construction, such as Isometric Sketches and General Arrangement Drawings;Adhere to the committed manhours, budget and project schedule;Meet quality and HSE objectives of the project;Interface with other discipline specialist engineers and project support functions such as planning and cost control.

You will have the opportunity to do business trips to attend technical meetings with Clients or Engineering Service Suppliers, move to other Technip Energies operating centers and join our colleagues overseas. You will also have the opportunity to follow up engineering activities directly on our sites, supporting construction activities.
