Maintenance Senior Engineering Specialist PVV (Piping-Valve-Vessel) Airswift is now actively recruiting for aMaintenance Senior Engineering Specialist PVV (Piping-Valve-Vessel) Engineer who will work on a major and key strategic project, MozLNG.
The position is based in Milan, Italy.
Reporting to Maintenance Manager, 12 months renewable, residential contract.

DUTIES: - Prepare the Maintenance strategies and plans associated with all PVV equipment and associated support systems, on the LNG complex - Ensure the standardization and optimization of spare parts as well as the spares management strategy for all PVV equipment and support systems on the LNG Complex - Maintenance contracts preparation for the PVV equipment on the LNG Complex 4.
HSE RESPONSIBILITES - Adhere to HSE, Company policies, Confidentiality, Compliance needs and Procedures.
- Demonstrate safety leadership by working safely, highlight any potential incidents or dangerous situations.
- Contribute towards continual HSE improvement of safety behaviour for the role and others.
- Attend mandatory HSE trainings, refresher/expired training and apply them to on site tasks, ensure team and vendor compliance.
- Support to maintain and continually improve ISO 14001 Environment Management System requirements and other management initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Coordinates with the Senior Rotating Engineer on all aspects of Mechanical Engineering & Maintenance matters, and provides expert technical advice - Works with the Senior Rotating Engineer and all members of the Mechanical team, to ensure delivery of the Mechanical activities in the Maintenance and Inspection Engineering (MIE) plan - Reviews the documents and technical characteristics of PVV equipment supplied by the project to identify challenges for future maintenance and inspection activities in operation phase - Acts as an interface between EPC and MIE Contractor to facilitate data flow and ensure technical guidance of MIEC for PVV equipment - Reviews and if required develops, the maintenance strategies for PVV equipment and ensures compliance of the planned preventive maintenance program to the company's Safety & Environment Critical Element (SECE) performance standards - In coordination with the Maintenance & Inspection Engineering Contractor (MIEC), develops and reviews the PVV equipment planned preventive and Risk Based Monitoring (RBI) maintenance program, to ensure that the maintenance tasks undertaken are adequate to prevent unplanned equipment failure - Works closely with the Inspection team to support inspection and RBI requirements on the mechanical assets as necessary - Works with the company team and Maintenance and Inspection Engineering Contractor (MIEC) to develop maintenance procedures and standards, work method associated with the various PVV equipment, and all other workpack activities related to PVV equipment - Works with the Company's Methods Team in ensuring all PVV equipment plans are loaded into the Computerized Maintenance and Inspection Management System (CMIMS) and are adequately resourced and all plans are resource leveled to allow for proper management of maintenance backlog during the operations phase - Liaises with vendors and the original equipment manufacturers for all queries regarding maintenance, modifications, spare parts, drawings and the resolution of technical problems.
Service Description - Works with the Operations team during commissioning phase for all PVV equipment which includes providing support on deviations and maintenance engineering input into design, 3D model and constructability reviews as well as Factory and Site Acceptance Testing - In coordination with the Senior Rotating Engineer and MIEC, reviews and controls the standardization of materials and spare parts for all PVV equipment and related systems.
Reviews MIEC propositions on stock quantities, usage and consumption to minimize the stock value, whilst ensuring that all spare parts are available for routine, defect and shutdown maintenance.
- Works with the Senior Rotating Engineer in developing the scope of works for PVV equipment support contracts - In coordination with the MIEC and Equipment Vendors, develops typical repair plans for the assets considered Vital, which includes the various heat exchangers including the Main Cryogenic Heat Exchanger (MCHE) from Air Products - Prepare all required procedures for future maintenance operations, defines tools and material required for the workshops and repairs of PVV equipment - Ensure preparation of data required for future maintenance operation and trouble shooting (documentation related to PVV equipment) and accessibility in Quantum / Prodom 6.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS - Excellent knowledge of Mechanical oil & gas / LNG equipment, maintenance, repair and methods.
- Excellent knowledge of LNG equipment – operation, testing and repair methods (Valves, Piping systems including supports, Packaged equipment, Tanks, MCHE, Heat Exchangers, Air coolers, Fired heaters, Cold boxes, Loading arms)- Excellent knowledge of international codes & standards.
- Good knowledge of maintenance SAP (like CMMS).
- Knowledge of computer applications and methods.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND Qualifications: - Bachelor of higher education in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with international standard and solid experience Experience: - Minimum 20 years specific maintenance experience in oil, gas or petrochemical industry - Minimum 10 years in LNG producing plants, not LNG terminals - Experienced in MIE activities.
