REPORTS TO: Executive Sous Chef / Executive ChefWe are looking for a Pizzaiolo / Demi Chef de Partie Bakery to join our Kitchen Team and make delicious pizzas based on traditional and modern recipes. ProfileWork experience as Pizzaiolo / Demi Chef de Partie Bakery or similar role in a restaurant or luxury hotelHands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza doughsFamiliarity with professional kitchen equipment and brick/stone/electric ovensUnderstanding of food hygieneTeam spiritDiploma from a culinary school / Hotel Technical Institute / Professional Technical InstituteEligible for a working permit in ItalyAbility to work and communicate in a multinational environment:Italian – good oral and written skillsEnglish – good oral and written skillsOverall ObjectivesPreparing pizza dough, slicing and chopping toppings like vegetables and meats, and executing guests' orders considering special requests.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with various pizza types and be available to work during business hours.
You will help to increase guests' satisfaction by preparing high-quality pizzas. Prepare pizzas out of our menu and based on guests' ordersBake a wide variety of pizza doughs, including thin crust, thick crust, and cheese-stuffedMake fresh tomato, pesto, and white cream saucesWash and chop vegetables (such as tomatoes, peppers, onions, mushrooms)Cut, slice, and grill meats like chicken, ham, and beefMonitor food stock and place orders as neededUse traditional and non-traditional ingredients to appeal to a larger audience (such as vegan, cheese, and gluten-free flour)Recommend new recipes to update our menusMaintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipmentWork with Superior and Human Resource Manager to ensure the departmental performance of staff is productiveRecycle wherever possible and enforce cost-saving measures to staffLog security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr
