Nexans owns a Manufacturing Plant located in Pioltello (Milan - Italy) that is the European leader in the production of cables dedicated to Automation, Wind Turbine, Healthcare and Automotive markets.

The Supply Chain Planning department is responsible for products demand management in cooperation with Sales Team and consequent replenishment from Production in order to ensure an on time product availability.

Inventory level and forward-looking coverage at warehouse is constantly monitored in order to reduce workingcapitals.

ThePlanning Engineer

- internshipwill be part of the supply Chain Team, and, in particular, ERP Implementation Project Team, (SAP ECC6), with a specific focus on APO SUITE.

Process analysis of physical and data flow information across the plant.

Consistency between the customer's backlog/forecast, analyzing capacity, resources, and available inventories.

Improving planning accuracy trough proper workload allocation.

Defining scheduling procedures for production departments.

Implementation and execution of control checkpoints.

Contributing to ATP (Available to Promise) process.

Measuring and planning performances through KPI analysis ( OTIF and FTT).
