About the job: Plant Controller is a key member of the plant management team. In this role you will provide financial analysis so that the industrial plant can make appropriate financial decisions, especially regarding cost reduction and investments. You will have a solid knowledge in cost accounting, ensuring that plant costs are minimized and present accurate month-end closes. You will work closely with the Electrolux financial community for various financial analysis as well as support external auditors.
What you will do: As a Plant Controller, you will analyze, coordinate, and forecast complex financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information and recommendations to senior management for medium- and long-term strategic and operational decisions. You will also coordinate activities related to budgets, forecasts, costs, and other financial matters, including control and data reporting for a country/plant.
Reporting to: operationally to Plant Manager, functionally to BA EA Manufacturing controller
In detail, you will: Act as a financial business partner to the plant manager and the factory management team, providing financial leadership for key business decisions. Be part of the BA EA manufacturing controlling community and act as an integral team member focused on delivering accurate analysis, reports, and recommendations from the plant. Handle budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up on all relevant factory costs and KPIs, in line with group standards. Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes. Ensure that practices and policies are enforced by informing and educating the organization about financial procedures, as well as evaluating and improving policies. Provide official reporting according to the Electrolux Accounting Manual. Perform product cost calculations (including standard costing and transfer pricing). Proactively analyze data and trends, highlighting potential deviations and opportunities to improve results. Provide functional and operational leadership to the controlling department, which includes 3 people. Manage external and internal audits. Control costs and expenditures in the following areas:Variable costs (Direct Material, Direct Labour, variable factory overhead)Fixed costs (e. g. , maintenance, staff, indirect labour, indirect material)Capital expenditures, including the preparation and follow-up of investment requests. Qualifications & Requirements: University degree in business administration/ economics or similarSolid experience in controlling or similar financial areas, preferably in an industrial environmentGood understanding of manufacturing processes is preferredGood communication skills and ability to explain and report in a transparent wayHigh resilienceAbility to interact with different functions and levels of the companyGood knowledge of IT tools (MS Office, MRP systems, SAP finance)Good leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop the teamStrong time management skillsExcellent analytical skillsFluent English and ItalianWhere you will be: You'll be based in an international work environment in the central office for Purchasing in Europe in Susegana (TV), only 1 hour distance from Venice.
