For our client, an international player in the manufacture and distribution of medical devices (orthotics & prosthetics), we are looking for their Italian Business Unit a

**Plant Director.

He/she - reporting to the CEO of the products & components branch of the Group

- will be responsible for all the aspects regarding the manufacturing site (25 resources).

He/she oversees all daily operations of the plant driving continuous improvement and optimization of all processes; he/she ensures positive employee relations and a safe working environment, as well as monitoring financial performance of processing facility.

Main Responsabilities:_

- Ensure the achievement of general and production objectives

- Supervise the administrative team by implementing the rules and procedures defined by the Group

- Prepare cost and staff budget in collaboration with the Management

- Manage the relationship with Plant's staff

- Propose improvements and investments designed to a greater production efficiency, a cost reduction, an environmental protection and a health and safety of workers

- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers

- Ensure the compliance with legislation about health and safety of workers

- Create and implement short and long-range actions to achieve increased volumes and margins

- Oversee sales targets and forecasts with Sales Manager

- Implement new products with Sales Manager

Requirements:_

- Master's degree in Engineering or similar; MBA will be considered a strong plus

- Proven experience in the role in companies that preferably produce polymer elastomeric (all the type of elastomeric, rubber, polyurethane, etc)

- With a spirit of curiosity, you are capable of developing and testing new product designs yourself

- Ability to organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity

- Ability in decision-making and strong analytical mindset.

- Excellent communication skill, leadership and people management.

- Excellent in English both written and spoken
