Plant Financial Controller

As Plant Controller for the Fiorenzuola plant, you will report to the Finance Director of ACT Europe BU, with the management team and closely collaborating with the European Finance Team. This role represents a key position in controlling costs and driving clarity around the site's financial administration. The focus of this position will be on continuous improvement of the financial operations, analyses of business drivers, and on building a strong link between Finance and the plant's Management Team. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Accurate monthly forecast cycle: actual analysis, bottom-up forecast, and partner communication; Month-end closing activities (account reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and management reporting); Ensure financial procedures are followed consistently; Actively recommend and support the implementation of operational improvements; Validate monthly product costing; Overview of capital investment projects; Contribute to improving the yearly budget process; Provide Ad Hoc analysis for Finance business partners; Act as a financial advisor for the plant management, providing financial reports and analysis to boost decision-making; Establish and implement, as required, policies and procedures following accepted US GAAP, Local GAAP, and company concepts and standards; Liaise with external authorities concerning the Company's interests such as Auditors. Who You Are: You have strong financial competence combined with a strategic approach. You are an excellent communicator, able to build solid partnerships and collaborate with relevant partners of the organization. For This Role, You Will Need: Qualified accountant with 6 years of practical finance experience in manufacturing companies; Strong analytical approach and communication skills; Provide leadership to a team to ensure successful departmental performances; Proficient, spoken and written, in English; Excellent Excel skills and good knowledge of the full Office package. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: ERP system experience (preferably SAP); Experience of working for a US-owned business - desirable.
