For one of the factories located in Emilia Romagna, we are looking for a **PLANT MANAGER

Within the company policies, the jobholder is responsible for the operational performance of the Plant according to the targets given by the Operations Director.

The jobholder ensures continuous production of the required quantities, at the right time, within the established standards of quality at the lowest possible costs, while maintaining equipment, buildings and working environment in optimal conditions

**Posizione**:

- Ensures that the plant consistently achieves budgeted performances

- Ensures the plant has an "improvement plan", which details the actions, milestones, etc.

being taken to incrementally improve all aspects of the plant

- Through plant based teams, champions the use of modern manufacturing techniques, e. g.

SMED, SPC, Kaizen, Five S's, TPM etc. , requiring each area to visibly demonstrate details of performance against improvement activities

- Preparation of budget, capital expenditure requests, cost saving programs etc.

- Manages (including performance management/staff development) the people of the Plant

- Ensures the required standards for health, safety and environment are fully achieved

- Regularly audit and implement corrective actions

- Reporting on plant performance in an accordance with Company requirements

**Requisiti**:

- 8 -10 years management experience in a manufacturing environment

- Recognised Business/Technical related qualification, at least at University Level

- Good ERP knowledge and knowledge of Office Packages (Excel/ Word)

- Good knowledge of safety, quality, and hygiene procedures in an industrial environment

- Languages: Good knowledge of English
